General matters to all performance tickets



•    You can purchase tickets at our two box offices: Városmajor Monday through Sunday 3pm-7pm; Margitsziget Monday through Friday 3pm-7pm, on weekends 11am-7pm.
•    Online at the www.szabadter.hu website – that is currently under development
•    You can purchase tickets by cash in all main event ticket centres, where special handling charge will be applied

Ticket office opening

At Városmajor: 8th of May (Saturday): Monday through Friday: 3pm-7pm.
At Margaret Island: in May : Monday through Friday: 3pm-7pm, Weekens: 11am-7pm.

On the days of performances ticket offices are open until the performance starts.

The free pass is a card with name and serial number whose owner can flexibly select, on special sale prices, amongst the various productions of the 2010 Summer Festival.  These free passes can only be purchased at Open-air Theatre’s own ticket offices.  This free pass itself does not warrant your entry to the performances; however, the free passers can pick up their tickets for their chosen pieces at site (it is highly recommended that people book their tickets while buying the free passes!).  Free passes do not guarantee same seating arrangements for the various events.

Our colleagues prepare customised tour packages, taking special group requirements into consideration, organised around grand performances, and including transport from and to hotels, quality dining, and guided walks in the island.
